Watch: Providing people water and electricity through Oħloq Tbissima

The end of this week will see the 17th edition of the marathon Oħloq Tbissima, organized by the Missionary Society of Saint Paul. The funds raised will be helping children and families living in Peru who lack electricity, water and other basic necessities.

Mgr. Giovanni Cefai, who was appointed as the first Bishop of the new territory Santiago Apóstol de Huancané in Peru, will be using the funds raised to build a new school, a clinic, and for tools so that farmers can start cultivating their land. When the Bishop was appointed on the 22nd of June 2019, he said that he is happy as now he can be closer to the poor and all those in need.

Mgr. Cefai added that he believes that there are many people willing to help him, and therefore he wishes to experience this mission together, as he is not afraid to be poor since he sees the suffering the poor experience everyday around him.

Anyone who wishes to start donating can do so by contacting 51702007 for a €15 donation, 51802009 for a €25 donation, or by calling 51902080 for a €50 donation.
