Ta’ Frenc Restaurant in Gozo recently introduced its patrons to Giuseppe D’Aquino, a Michelin-starred chef from Italy who, with some of his staff in permanent residence, has created new menus for the well-established and much-loved restaurant.
The fare features Mediterranean delicacies with an emphasis on Gozitan produce – with a touch of Italian flair and skill – using the finest fresh and organic ingredients, including fish and shellfish from local waters, beef from rare Italian breeds, seasonal vegetables and fruit, and hand-made pasta, all offering what Chef Giuseppe describes as uno sguardo al nostro planeta, a glimpse of our planet.
The menus were launched at the Ta’ Frenc Restaurant during an event called Eutierria in July. Guests were able to sample the mouth-watering dishes; each course paired with the appropriate wines.
