Tourism Minister Konrad Mizzi had asked for AirMalta to send an aircraft to Denmark to pick up a number of families that have been stranded after their scheduled private flight to Malta did not materialise.
The Minister explained that a group of around 150 persons consisting of mostly children have been left in Aalborg and that he is doing his utmost to bring everyone back safely to Malta.
I requested @AirMalta to operate a relief flight to repatriate 150 Maltese passengers, mostly children, who were left stranded in Denmark by a private charter operator. Clear proof that Air #Malta continues to be a strategic asset for our country.
