A woman filed a judicial protest against the police commissioner after the police failed to find the owner of the dog which left her face permanently disfigured six months ago. The Sliema resident ended up with twelve stitches after a dog bit her in the face. The man and his dog on a leash entered the shop were she worked. According to her judicial protest, the woman asked whether she could pet the dog and was told yes.
The incident happened back in February. The police have yet to press charges over the incident. In the judicial protest, signed by the woman’s lawyer, the woman is holding the police commissioner responsible for all expenses and damages the incident had caused the woman.
