A 45-year-old woman was jailed for three years after pleading guilty to robbing an elderly woman’s house whilst posing as a healthcare worker.
Natalie Bonello, from Marsascala, was arrested last April over the theft of jewellery from an Msida home.
Though she had initially pleaded not guilty to the charge, she ultimately changed her plea.
Prosecuting inspector Jonathan Ransley informed the Court that Bonello was cooperating with the police, helping them solve six other thefts in the process.
Subsequently, Marseann Farrugia sentenced Bonello, who was assisted by lawyer Veronica Spiteri, to a three-year jail term.
