A 26-year-old woman residing in St Paul’s Bay was arrested after being charged with attempted theft from a restaurant in Tower Road, Sliema.

Nikita McAnally attempted to steal €520 from an establishment, breaching bail conditions as she had already been charged with theft of several objects and money from Europa Hotel last May.

The Court, presided by Yana Micallef Stafrace, denied the defence’s request for bail.

The prosecution was led by Inspector Colin Sheldon, while Martin Fenech acted as the legal aid.
