Those of you who were enjoying the unseasonally warm weather this January may be in for a bit of a shock.
According to the MaltaWeather.com Facebook page, the Maltese Islands are in for a very cold spell indeed, with gale force wind, rain and hail – as a blast from Siberia enters the central Mediterranean.
Wind and showers are predicted from Tuesday up until Sunday at least, with the temperature going down to around 11°C by Sunday.
