Prime Minister and Partit Laburista (PL) leader Joseph Muscat said that the government will not allow the creation of ghettos. Referring to the cold-blooded murder of migrant Lassine Cisse Souleymane, Muscat said that this tragedy needs become a milestone that teaches us to live together and integrate notwithstanding our diverse culture, skin tone, and nationality.
Joseph Muscat said this whilst talking in a political rally in Qormi on Sunday. He also added that we should stop listening to those who want to spread the venom against migrants.
The Prime Minister also mentioned that this week, the Cabinet of Ministers will be discussing on an appropriate and just remedy on the issue of pensions for ex-Telemalta employees.
Muscat also said that even if the PL wins the upcoming elections once again continuing on the success achieved in the General election of 2017, this will not necessarily translate into four seats for the party at the European Parliament.
Touching on Egrant, Joseph Muscat stated that Partit Nazzjonalista (PN) is now with its back against the wall and keeps rehashing the issue even though the result of the inquiry has decreed that what evidence there might have been was false.
