We cannot solve everything with money – Bishop Teuma

“What is humanity’s major problem? The illusion that we can solve everything, that with money we can achieve whatever we want” said Bishop of Gozo Anton Teuma in his homily during Midnight Mass.

In his message which focused on the love of Jesus and the unlimited love towards us.

“A baby in Bethlehem, inspires in each one of us what is beautiful, what is good, what is positive,” said the Gozitan Bishop.

When we look at baby his innocence transmits love and mercy, Mgr Teuma explained.

He said that the Lord wants to teach us how to love and be positive towards those that are weaker. Baby Jesus reveals the best in each one of us, the Bishop said.

“The Savior is weakness, he is the weakest; so that neither you nor I are ashamed of ourselves or others when we encounter our weaknesses,” said Mgr Teuma.

We need the eyes of our Lord Jesus to fill us with his love, said Bishop Teuma. The love that supports the weak, protects the fragile and helps the needy.
