Works will start on Marsalforn Road at a cost of €1.2 million, the government announced on Wednesday.
Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri visited the road works on Triq Masri in Xagħra, which is being fixed at a cost of €62,000. During the visit, he announced that works will commence on Marsalforn Road.
The Gozo Ministry has undertaken the repair of several main roads and streets in residential areas, including those completed over the past months – Triq Gajdoru, Triq il-Kumittiva, part of Triq Ġorf and Triq tal-Qaċċa.
Camilleri said that the government was committed to finance more infrastructural work in Gozo.
Xagħra mayor Christian Zammit was also present during the visit.
