December is usually filled with concerts organised by schools all over Malta and Gozo. Students spend hours every year rehearsing with their teachers so as to shine on stage in front of their parents and siblings.
However, this year is an unusual one, to say the least, with many schools opting for a pared-down version of their usual shows, in keeping with pandemic guidelines.
St Theresa School Kerċem in Gozo Year 5 went online for their annual Christmas concert this year. The students were filmed at school, individually at home or out in the open, resulting in a really sweet production called ‘Milied Stramb‘ (‘Strange Christmas’).
Here’s hoping that, although they could not all be together on stage, they still had a fun experience!
