Newsbook.com.mt talked with Sister Anastasia, who has for the past five months lived in the Little Sisters of Poor’s house in Hamrun, where Alfred has lived for four months.
Spiteri, who is 60 years was given the opportunity to live in a night shelter in Mellieha, but having spent the night, refused to go back.
Sister Anastasia mentioned that, among others, he was promised a television , a promise never fullfilled.
She recalled the first day Alfred arrived at their residence. She explained how he remained stunned that he was given a room and he could not believe it was going to be his.
Sister Anastasia also pointed out that although he repeatedly said that he will depart from the residence, he is yet to take this step.
