Watch: Survivors celebrate victory over breast cancer with Race for the Cure

The event is being held virtually this year.

Race for the Cure is the biggest sporting event for women’s health in Europe. It helps breast cancer organisations such as Europa Donna Malta raise awareness about breast cancer all over Europe.

This event brings together survivors, family and friends for a 3K walk or 5K run. Survivors celebrate their victory over breast cancer, participants support their loved ones affected by the disease and commemorate loved ones who passed away.

For 2020, the event is being held virtually – people can register in teams and participate in the walk or run. They are free to go wherever their feet will take them, as long as they keep in mind the local coronavirus guidelines. They can even decide to run indoors on a treadmill or at the gym.

The event will take place on 25th, 26th and 27th September 2020. You may sign up here.

Donations will go to Europa Donna Malta.
