Watch: “Stories can be both a mirror and a window”

    American writer Kali Wallace has been writing fiction all her life, but she wanted to be a scientist when she was a young child.

    In fact, she went on to study geology and geophysics before she decided she enjoyed using her imagination and writing more.

    Speaking exclusively to Newsbook.com.mt, Wallace says that some of the most fun she has had was writing fantasy for children.

    “I also have enjoyed writing thrillers for adults. Fast-paced, action-packed stuff. It’s a lot of fun to get into!” she says.

    The 2019 Malta Book Festival,, organised by the National Book Council (NBC) will be taking place at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta, until Sunday 10th November.
