“Christmas is a time of giving, let us try to spread the love and kindness in spite of the difficult times we find ourselves in.”
These are the words of soprano Nicola Said who recently released a video of her singing ‘Oh Holy Night’ (composed by Adolphe Adam).
“I produced this video together with an amazing team, including Sergio Costa, Matthew Muscat Drago and Andre Micallef. We wanted to bring some hope to people and show them that music and song can help us get through this, and send wishes to those particularly vulnerable and unable to leave their homes,” Nicola explained to Newsbook.com.mt, “Din l-Art Ħelwa generously allowed us to use the beautiful Our Lady of Victory Church to film. Everyone donated their time to do this, so it truly came from a place of love.”
The choir was directed by Masa-hiro Taniguchi.
