Prime Minister Joseph Muscat met with singer Michela Pace at the Auberge de Castille in Valletta on Monday.
Michela Pace has represented Malta in the 64th edition of the Eurovision song contest in Tel Aviv Israel on Thursday and Saturday. She placed in the 16th place.
Whilst talking to the members of the press, Michela Pace explained that it was not easy to make it to the final as she found some tough competition from the other semi-finalists. She added that not only did she have the honour to represent Malta but she also had the honour to open the final evening of the Eurovision song contest.
Talking to Newsbook.com.mt on Sunday, the Gozitan singer said that she is proud to have had the opportunity to be of credit to Malta. She also thanked the Maltese and Gozitan public for their constant support from back to her X factor days. She also said that this experience has taught her a lot.
The 64th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest was won by The Netherlands with the song Arcade sung by Duncan Lawrence.
