Watch: Pope Francis appeals for solidarity with stranded migrants

After the Angelus during the feast of the Epiphany, Pope Francis appealed to European authorities to show solidarity with the 49 person currently stranded at sea waiting to be given safe port.

Pope Francis said, “For many days 49 people saved in the Mediterranean sea are on board two NGO vessels looking for a safe port to disembark. I urgently appeal to European leaders to show concrete solidarity towards these people.”
