Having been unanimously approved as the new Member of Parliament (MP) to take up David Stellini’s parliamentary seat, Kevin Cutajar told journalists that the PN Executive Committee’s decision sent a strong message to people with disabilities.

He left the meeting this morning claiming that it was very satisfying to be given the privilege of serving the Maltese and Gozitans. He said that it is something wonderful that today the Partit Nazzjonalista (PN) decided to give the seat to Gozo. He remarked that this week the Gozitans showed total unity, and that was something worth learning from.

“I don’t see Kevin as a disabled person” – Delia

Meanwhile, the Opposition Leader Adrian Delia said that he does not see Kevin Cutajar as a disabled person, but a person with abilities that has already led to unity within the PN.

Asked by journalists about Secretary General Clyde Puli’s call to other potential candidates to contest the parliamentary seat, Delia said that he was doing his duty and was informing all those eligible.
