Bishop Elect Joseph Galea-Curmi expressed his concern at the decline in attendance to Mass but said that on the positive side, those attending, do so out of conviction and not out of convenience. He said that a lot remains to be done to spread what was described as ‘the beauty of our faith’. He spoke of how one should not divorce faith from daily life and how, in his opinion, the teachings of the Church should be more widely disseminated.
