Watch: Oh yes it is! Exclusive interview with MADC’s Dame

It’s panto-time again and Newsbook.com.mt was given privileged access to the MADC Clubrooms for an exclusive interview with this year’s dame – the naughty but nice Dame Fracassata.

This being MADC’s 40th panto, all the stops have been pulled out to ensure that the audiences have a great time. Written and directed by Malcolm Galea, the classic fairy tale of Jack and the Beanstalk has been updated with a new and unusual twist that Maltese audiences – young and old – are sure to love.

The cast features Michael Mangion as the Dame, as well as Matthew Ben Attard, Katherine Brown, Joe Depasquale, Christina Despott, Rachel Tedesco Triccas, Audrey Scerri and Sean Briffa.

During this fun-filled interview, Sylvana Debono also speaks to Martin Azzopardi from the MADC about what it takes to be part of one of Christmas’ most-loved traditions.

Jack and the Beanstalk will be performed at MFCC Ta’ Qali at 7.30pm on the 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 December 2018 and the 3, 4, 5 January 2019, with matinee performances at 3.00pm on the 26, 29, 30 December 2018.

Booking is now open on the MADC website. Tickets start from €10 and are available at a reduced rate for children aged 3-11. Children aged two and under enter free with a toddler ticket but must have a reserved seat with parents/guardians.
