After a concert last Monday at Hugo’s sixth anniversary celebrations, Matthew James has announced his second single for 2019, Magazine. This reggae-influenced pop track features none other than the SKA legend from The Rifffs and X-Factor Judge Ray Mercieca.
“This track is the fourth song that will feature on my first EP as a solo act. The EP will be entitled 4OUR and will be launched at Hard Rock Cafe Baystreet on the 27th March. 4OUR is a collection of all my releases as a solo act up to now,” says Matthew.
The hard copy of “4OUR” will be exclusively available for sale on the night of the launch and half of the EP’s proceeds will be donated to The Richmond Foundation, raising awareness about mental health, specifically anxiety. The artwork was voluntarily designed by White Noise to show their support towards the cause.
Releasing two songs, driving crowds wild during his signature energetic performances and performing as a guest on X Factor Malta’s first edition, 2019 seems to be treating Matt just fine
“I am not able to do anything I do without the constant support of my family, friends, my sponsors Hard Rock Cafe, Pepsi and Besteam Audio, everyone who follows my art, my life partner Lindsey and my little four-legged-buddy Marley. I think surrounding yourself with beautiful souls full of loving and positive energy is the secret to life.”
