In his message to the Maltese to keep safe, Carragher says that he understands the difficulty of staying at home and distancing oneself from friends and colleagues, but this is the most sensible thing to do in these circumstances. He says that he misses his on-air banters and jokes with Gary Neville.
Carragher also revealed that he is partly Maltese as his grandfather, Paul Vassallo was born in Malta. He closed by expressing a desire to join Gary Neville on his next trip to Malta once this pandemic is over.
