Deputy Prime Minister Chris Fearne has stated that the institutions should be allowed to do their job and investigate the alleged domestic violence abuse by Opposition and Nationalist Party leader Adrian Delia.
Fearne when replying to media questions, said that institutions such as the Police and the Commissioner on Domestic Violence were the competent authorities to investigate such claims.
Fearne stressed that Delia’s matrimonial issues should remain private while the institutions should be allowed to function.
Fearne claimed he was unaware on whether there was an ongoing investigation on Delia. He dismissed claims of following party line to remain mum on the case.
