Tista' taqra bil- Malti.
Colours filled St Julians’ Parish Church as family and friends paid their respects to Enrica Rose, a 13 year old girl who lost the fight against cancer on the 6th of September.
After her passing, Enrica’s parents asked all those attending the funeral to avoid wearing black clothing.
The Concelebration was led by Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Galea-Curmi. During his homily, Parish Priest Fr. Claude Portelli explained that the way we live our lives is more significant than how long our life is.
A courageous girl, who has lived a life filled with love and simplicity, leaving an effect on every person she met, Fr. Portelli stated. He added that Enrica has taught us all to appreciate the simple things in life.
Many expressed their sorrows when they heard of the sad news, and compared Enrica’s passing to a thunderstorm on a sunny day.
