Watch: FKNK Official will not go hunting as an act of solidarity

Lino Farrugia, Chief Executive Officer of the Federation for Hunting and Conservation, FKNK announced that he is refusing to go hunting as a solidarity act towards those hunters who are not allowed to hunt due to the measures announced by health authorities.

Earlier this month government announced that those who are over 65 years old and those considered as vulnerable in view of the coronavirus developments are not allowed to go out hunting.

With this measure in place, more than 1,500 hunters have been affected.

In the meantime, the FKNK has launched a fundraising initiative and explained that all funds will be donated to the authorities as a sign of solidarity.
