Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Galea Curmi appealed to the people living in Malta and Gozo to be generous towards Dar tal-Providenza during the upcoming annual fundraising activity scheduled for 1 January. Mgr Galea Curmi explained that the residence required the people’s generosity to raise the necessary funds which would enable it to continue with its mission.
Speaking to Newsbook.com.mt Mgr Galea Curmi appealed to the general public not only to give their donations on 1 January but to continue helping the residence throughout the year.
The Auxiliary Bishop explained that one is not valued on what one is capable of doing but is valued automatically as a person created in God’s image.
Mgr Galea Curmi spoke on the same subject during Ta’ Kulħadd, a radio programme aired on RTK 103FM and presented by Massimiliana De Martino.
Festa Ġenerożità will be held on 1 January and funds raised will go to Dar tal-Providenza.
