During this episode of Take a Bow, MIAF Artistic Director Ruben Zahra speaks about the inclusion of literature into this year’s festival, which will feature authors Trevor Zahra, Simone Spiteri and Malcolm Galea who wrote monologues inspired by COVID-19, which will be interpreted by actors Mikhail Basmadjan, Joseph Galea and Andre Mangion.
Another collaboration with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra and Spazju Kreattiv will involve three quartets.
Finally, the MIAF is set to close with a bang, with the Opera Highlights as part of Festivals Malta’s Hybrid Festival. Performers will be visiting locations around Malta and offering an opera show on a double-decker bus.
