Archbishop Charles Scicluna has led a private pilgrimage from St Clement’s Chapel to St Gregory’s Church in Żejtun.
This pilgrimage is usually led by the Archbishop on the first Wednesday after Easter.
Since the breakout of the coronavirus pandemic, the Archbishop has been sharing his prayers with those who are looking for other means to pray from the comfort of their home during the coronavirus outbreak.
In his prayers, Archbishop Scicluna explains to us that God is with us and one of us especially in difficult times such as these.
Archbishop Scicluna’s prayers go also to the migrants who still haven’t been rescued yet not even by the Maltese authorities as the Maltese government, last week, announced that the Maltese ports are closed due to the outbreak of coronavirus.
Regarding this matter, on Monday, Archbishop Scicluna wrote on Twitter that those in danger within the Maltese rescue area should be rescued, as their safety should always be guaranteed.
