Watch: Aġenzija Zgħazagħ celebrates healthworkers

The COVID-19 pandemic and other global emergencies show us once again the heroic efforts healthworkers on the front lines make every day to keep their communities — and the world — safe and healthy.

Aġenzija Zgħazagħ wanted to share their gratitude towards healthworkers and thank them for doing their very best to keep us safe.

7️⃣ April 2020 is the day to celebrate the work of 👩‍⚕️medical staff and remind 🌎 world leaders & everyone of the critical role they play in keeping the world 💪 healthy. Health workers are at the forefront of 🦠COVID-19 response – providing 🎖high quality, 👍respectful treatment and care, leading community 🗣dialogue to address fears and questions and, in some instances, collecting 📝data for clinical studies. Quite simply, without health workers, there would be ❌no response.⚠️Let us help them out – PLEASE STAY AT 🏠HOME ! Here's a 📨message from us at Agenzija Zghazagh to all the health workers ⬇️#inthistogether #stayathome #thankyouMater Dei Hospital Nursing Services Directorate – Malta Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Directorate DHIR – Directorate for Health Information and Research – Malta Chris Fearne Charmaine Gauci and many more whom we couldn't find online !

Since Aġenzija Żgħażagħ’s centres are closed and will remain so for the foreseeable future, it is no longer possible for them to provide their programmes and services on a face-to-face basis in the usual settings. However, all their staff members are working online and will continue to offer their energy to all young people. This has required them to find new and innovative ways of contacting, staying in touch and supporting each other.

You can contact them via their Facebook page, their social media platform or on email: agenzija.zghazagh@gov.mt
