On his second day in the Holy Land, Archbishop Charles Scicluna administered the renewal of marriage vows to two couples participating in the pilgrimage.
In his vlog, the Archbishop introduced two couples who got married in the past two years. He explained that Jesus showed us a sign of the Transfiguration through the miracle that changed water into wine, so that the married couple could continue to celebrate.
The group, led by the Archbishop himself, also visited the Basilica of Our Lady, which is the cave where angel Gabriel appeared to the Virgin Mary. The Archbishop celebrated Mass with Fr. Daniel and Fr. Twanny and later joined monks for the Angelus in the grotto. They also visited the Church dedicated to St. Joseph.
The group also visited Mount Tabor.
