View art around the world virtually with the APS Mdina Cathedral Contemporary Art Biennale

APS Bank has launched the first-ever virtual APS Mdina Cathedral Contemporary Art Biennale.

The Biennale’s inaugural night on the 13th March – and subsequently the entire exhibition – was cancelled at the last minute because of the pandemic. So this project is intended to give a virtual taste of what one would have experienced by visiting this year’s exhibition.

‘Regaining a Paradise Lost. The Role of the Arts’ is the theme of this exhibition, which has been depicted through the eyes of 29 different artists.

Besides art pieces from local talent, the exhibition displays works from artists from across the globe, including Australia, Austria, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Japan, Macedonia, Malaysia, Romania, Russia, Serbia, and the United Kingdom.

Every day, at 9.00 am sharp, an exhibit by a particular artist is shared on the bank’s Facebook and Instagram pages, accompanied with an excerpt on the particular art being featured.
