Malta’s National Theatre Teatru Manoel brings you a night of music and pure entertainment with Versatile Brass Band’s first ever concert on the theatre’s Main Stage.
Led by Maestro Paul Borg the night will consist of Versatile Brass Band’s signature DJ Brass Fusion sound in one of Europe’s oldest theatres. Versatile Brass is a dynamic band of 18 highly sought-after musicians with a vast repertoire that rangers from Classic to Pop, Jazz, Swing, Latin, Bossa Nova, Standards, Motown, Reggae, Twist and Rock’n Roll.
The band will be joined by some of Malta’s leading artists including Malta Song for Europe Winner 2015 Amber Bondin, Jazz vocal artist Nadine Axisa, vocal powerhouse Glorianne Arpa Belli, smooth ans striking vocalist Martina Borg, the gritty and energetic Andre Portelli, local musical theatre leading man Roger Tirazona and Malta Song for Europe Winner for 2011 Glen Vella.
Proceeds from this concert will partly, be donated to Dar Bjorn, founded by Bjorn Formosa. Dar Bjorn, a purpose-built home in Qormi, aids those diagnosed with degenerative conditions such as ALS. Works for a second home in Żebbuġ are currently underway promising to be a bigger and more improved version of the current Qormi facility.
