Students studying at the University of Malta received €100 in their bank accounts on Wednesday.
A spokesperson for the Stipend’s Office told Newsbook.com.mt that the additional €100 to the normal maintenance grant was given to all students. The spokesperson said that this was a budget measure.
In an statement the Education Ministry said that the measure was meant to come into force next year, however it was implemented beforehand. Those who have yet to receive the additional €100 should expect theirs over the coming days.
