Two vans collide in Pietà

Two vans were involved in a traffic collision early morning on Saturday at 6.

A Police spokesperson confirmed the incident with which happened at Clarence Street on the corner with Qrejten street.

One of the drivers is 36 from Fgura and suffered no injuries. The second van was being driven by a 33-year-old from Bangladesh residing in Gżira, who suffered minor injuries. Members of the Civil Protection were called to the scene as the passenger in the second van was trapped inside. The condition of the passenger who is also from Bangladesh is not yet known.

The driver and passenger were taken to Mater Dei hospital.
