Two succumb to coronavirus

Two men have died of coronavirus, the health ministry announced in a statement on Sunday evening.

A 98-year-old man, who tested positive on 14 November, and a 67-year-old man, who tested positive on 29 October, died at Mater Dei Hospital.

To date, the pandemic has claimed 113 lives.

On Sunday, the health authorities reported 102 new infections as the number of active cases stood at 2,159.
