Two injured in Paris knife attack near former Charlie Hebdo offices

Two people were severely injured in a knife attack in Paris. The attack took place near the former office of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, on Friday.

French authorities are treating it as an “Islamist terror attack”.

So far two people had been arrested in connection with the attack.

The Police have detained the person who they believed was behind the attack and that a second individual was arrested to determine his links to the alleged attacker.

Five other individuals have also been detained in connection to the attack.

An investigation has been opened.
