Tista' taqra bil- Malti.
A spokesperson for the Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) told Newsbook.com.mt that two immigrants from the NGO vessel Alan Kurdi were evacuated and brought to Malta because they were in need of medical assistance.
In the meanwhile, the non-governmental organisation Sea-eye asked the Italian Ministry of the Interior whether the ban to entry and the one million fine would still apply under the new government.
The Italian Ministry has confirmed that the ban is still applicable. Sea-eye stated that “Italy seems to continue Salvini’s inhumane policy”.
We have sent a request to the Italian Ministry of the Interior, whether the ban to entry and the 1.000.000€ fine would still apply under the new government.

Yesterday, the NGO had also appealed to the Maltese Prime Minister Joseph Muscat, to assist their vessel the ‘Alan Kurdi’ with the disembarkation of asylum seekers they had rescued.
