Three more elderly succumb to COVID-19

Three individuals aged between 67 and 87 are the latest victims of the pandemic, the health authorities announced on Thursday.

A 82-year-old man who tested positive for coronavirus on 5 December, died at Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday.

A 67-year-old man who tested positive for coronavirus on 26 December, and died at Mater Dei Hospital today.

An 87-year-old woman who tested positive for coronavirus on 17 December, died at Mater Dei Hospital earlier today.

Whilst offering its condolences to the families of the victims, the health ministry reminded everyone to remain vigilant.

The pandemic has, until now, claimed 219 lives.
