Three elderly lose battle to Covid-19. This was announced by the Ministry for Health in a statement.
Victims details:
- A 68 -year-old man who tested positive on 1 December died on Saturday at Mater Dei Hospital
- A 78 -year-old man who tested positive on 28 November died on Saturday at Mater Dei Hospital
- A 87 -year-old woman who tested positive on 30 November died on Saturday at Mater Dei Hospital
The Ministry reminded everyone to remain vigilant and follow the measures in place.
52 new cases; 90 recoveries
Malta has registered 52 new coronavirus cases on Saturday following 2,659 swab tests. 1,815 remain active as 90 recovered.
To date, 169 fatalities have been registered by the health authorities.
Investigations on today’s cases are still ongoing.
