  • At 8pm, businessman Yorgen Fenech is arraigned in court in connection with the assassination of journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia. Fenech was arrested on November 20th, when he was allegedly attempting to flee Malta on board his yacht.
  • Melvin Theuma, the middleman in the case of this assassination of Caruana Galizia posed for a photo with the former Chief of Staff at OPM Keith Schembri, in his office in Castille. The photo was revealed exclusively in a report on Malta Today.
  • Reuters journalist Stephen Grey, when interviewed on Newsbook, said that there are more people speaking to them with details and they will be focusing on the owners of Macbridge. Grey expressed his concern about the security of Yorgen Fenech and Melvin Theuma.
  • Former Minister Chris Cardona requested the speaker for protection in view of the allegations of a frame-up in his regards during a Cabinet meeting. Cardona said that although several claims were denied by Government, this fact was never denied.
  • The speaker of the hose said that while one understands Cardona’s concern, there is not much he can do about this matter.
  • Magistrate Audrey Demicoli declares that Yorgen Fenech’s arrest was legal.
  • Sources close to the Labour Party confirmed with that the election for the new leader of the Labour Party is expected to happen in two stages in January 2020. Muscat is expected to stay in charge until the new leader is elected.
  • Graffiti organized a protest in front of Castille to express their anger in front of what’s taking place in the country. The protest took place next to Manwel Dimech’s monument.
