The Malta Classic – vintage style and speed

Over 75 pre-1975 cars will participate in the 11th edition of the Malta Classic, with drivers from countries including France, the UK, Italy and Switzerland joining an impressive array of cars belonging to local drivers.

Mtaħleb Hill Climb – 11th October 2018 from 2.00 to 6.00 pm

The event begins with The Malta Classic Hill Climb by Thomas Smith. In this most tradi­tional form of motor racing, vintage cars race the clock to the top of Mtaħleb hill. This is a free event and there is no need to purchase tickets.

Mdina Concours D’Elegance – 12th October 2018 from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm

The Malta Classic Concours d’Elegance by Mdina Glass follows with a spec­tacle of the world’s most elegant and sought-after classic cars and a celebration of vintage style through the eras. Set against the historic backdrop of Mdina, the Malta Classic Concours d’Elegance unveils a selection of the finest historic and collector automobiles, as well as en­tertainment, vintage dress and refreshments. This is also a free event and no tick­et purchase is necessary.

Malta Classic Mdina Grand Prix – 13 and 14 October 2018

The highly-anticipated Malta Classic Mdina Grand Prix is held on the weekend and will feature exhilarating races outside Mdina’s fortified walls. On the Saturday, cars are put to the test on a track of tight bends, sweeping curves and inclines that wind their way through a valley of vineyards and terraced hills. This day comes to a close with timed drives, determining the starting order of Sunday’s Mdina Grand Prix.

The Sunday event presents the ultimate adrenaline-fueled experience for both drivers and spectators alike. Categorised by speed, power and era, the world’s most iconic cars take to the circuit in a thrilling race to the fin­ish line, as the unforgiving nature of the Malta Classic circuit brings out the very best of performance by both drivers and their classic racing automobiles.
