The highest recorded temperature in July 2019 was that of 39.6°C. According the meteorological Office (MET) at the Malta International Airport, this temperature was registered between the 8th and the 10th of the past month. The lowest recorded temperature in the same month was that of 21°C.
The MET Office added that July was not a completely dry month as 0.8mm of rain was measured during the period. The median velocity of the winds in the same period exceeded the climatic norm of 6.6 nautical miles an hour by 0.6 nautical miles.
July also registered 11.9 of daily sunshine hours.
