Prof. Gauci said that regarding community carers, they are taking the necessary measures to have minimal contact with people.
20 swab tests were carried out on Saturday at the Hal Far Open Centre and all came back negative.
Prof. Gauci said that random testing at the open centre will continue accordingly.
It was highlighted that no new positive cases were confirmed from the Hal Far Open Centre.
She also said that many do not attend as they do not feel the symptoms anymore but it is important that authorities continue monitoring such cases.
Prof. Gauci said that many people are not attending for their swab tests scheduled during the weekend but authorities are asking them why they are not attending.
Regarding the patients at the ITU Prof. Gauci said that the two of them are in stable condition and are being monitored.
Regarding the possibility to relax some of the measures against coronavirus Prof. Gauci said they cannot remove the measures at once and at the right time authorities will announce that certain measures can be lifted.

Prof. Gauci said that it is important that we continue following the authorities' instructions to continue maintaining the positive cases as low as possible.
The new case is a Serbian woman aged 29 who resides and works in Malta.

Only one new person has been confirmed as a new positive COVD-19 case
Prof. Gauci said that 19 more people have recovered from coronavirus but will remain in quarantine; 14 male and 5 women
The Superintendent of Public Health Prof.Charmaine Gauci expected to address the press briefing on the latest COVID-19 situation soon.
Yesterday, Prof. Gauci said that in total 99 persons have recovered from the virus.
In Malta and Gozo until now we have 324 cases coronavirus active cases.
The Superintendent for Public Health also said that the total number of Ħal Far ‘Tent Village’ residents who have tested positive for coronavirus stands at 35.
On Saturday Prof.Gauci announced four new coronavirus cases and another eight patients have successfully recovered.
