Thailand: “Once they get out, we will play football together again”

A 14-year-old friend of some of the boys trapped in a Thai cave system, told the Reuters news agency that once his friends are saved they should go eat something, and then go play a football game together.

Today the last effort to save the remaining 5 boys and coach trapped in a cave system in Chiang Rai, Thailand has started

The first 8 boys were already saved and are healthy, with some of them asking for chocolate bread for breakfast. However, they are still in quarantine because of the risk of infection, and will likely be hospitalised for a week until their tests are completed.

Yesterday, another four boys from Luang Tham were saved after two consecutive days of attempts.

FIFA invited the boys to the finals of the World Cup in Moscow, but it does seem that the boys will not be able to attend because of the remaining tests.

Elon Musk, the billionaire technology mogul provided the team working to save the children a submarine suitable for children built by his company SpaceX.
