Malta Public Transport has announced that passengers can once again book on-demand trips to travel between Valletta, Sliema and St Julian’s on its premium buses with the relaunched TD Plus service.
The booking process on the Tallinja App has been upgraded, making it easier than ever to select the point of departure and destination. The service area has also been increased to include more bus stops in San Ġwann and Swieqi, while still serving popular destinations such as Mater Dei Hospital.
In an effort to keep everyone as safe as possible, buses are being cleaned and sanitised more frequently, and capacity has been limited to 50% to allow for more space on board. Passengers are kindly reminded that they are required to wear face masks on public transport.
The TD Plus service is available from Monday to Sunday between 5.00 am and midnight and only costs €2 per trip when booking through the app, with additional passengers only paying €1 per passenger through a special offer to mark the relaunch of the service. More information is available on the website.
