Archbishop Scicluna to discuss outcomes of anticipated Papal visit

Parish priests in Malta and Gozo will be meeting Archbishop Charles Scicluna to discuss the Papal visit to Malta. In a notification sent to all parish priests, the Archbishop is requesting a meeting for Wednesday morning with the aim to discuss the possible outcomes of Pope Francis visit to Malta.

Parish priests train in listening skills

The parish priests of Malta’s seventy parishes have just finished participating in a three-day intensive live-in seminar in listening skills. The training helps parish priests both to better undertake their mission as well as to prepare them for the Pastoral Plan the Archdiocese of Malta is expected to launch in the coming weeks. This Pastoral Plan will be based on the nurturing of four basis attitudes in the Church. These are: listening, welcoming, accompanying and reaching out.
