Steward Healthcare is insisting that the government’s failure to release Gozitan nurses employed in Malta for transfer constrained it to recruit foreign nurses in the Gozo General Hospital, a move that has seen the Malta Union of Midwives and Nurses call for industrial action.
The Malta Union of Midwives and Nurses organised a protest outside the Auberge de Castille, in which they are asking the Prime Minister to stop Steward Healthcare from employing foreign nurses in the Gozo General Hospital.
