A 129-room old people's home is being proposed on a tract of land found between Ħal Safi, al Kirkop and iż-Żurrieq. The proposed development will consist of one level of basement parking and three recessed levels. Ancillary amenities are also being proposed.

Local council meetings to be held online

In a statement the Ministry for Local Government said that this was made possible following a joint effort by the Department of Local Government and MITA. A digital platform was introduced on Wednesday which will host local government meetings online.
