Court rules in favour of Repubblika on Judicial Appointments

Court upheld the request tabled by Rule of Law NGO Repubblika to hear a constitutional case challenging the way judicial appointments are made. This court decision follows hot on the heel of an official complaint which Repubblika sent yesterday to the European Commission, asking for an investigation on aspects of the constitution which, it maintains, are not in line with the EU's acquis.
