Spanish friends test positive for Covid-19 after Malta holiday

Five young Spaniards hailing from the city of Salamanca have tested positive for Covid-19 on their return from a holiday in Malta, Spanish media is reporting.

The five young men had travelled to Malta with a friend, and had returned to Spain on Monday. All six are being kept in quarantine as a precaution.

On Thursday, Italian media had similarly reported that a 27-year-old man who lives in the central region of Umbria tested positive for Covid-19 on his arrival from a Malta holiday.
